A Vail holiday tradition returns on Wednesday, December 23, 2026: the Vail Ice Spectacular, a 90-minute figure-skating show from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the newly renovated Dobson Arena.
Two days before Christmas, elite figure skaters take the ice for an evening of jumps, spins and choreography set to holiday music. Past casts have included U.S. National Champions and Winter Olympians.
This year the show moves into the freshly renovated Dobson Arena, which re-opened in late November after a $55 million upgrade. Reserved seats sit right on the ice, with general-admission seating in the bleachers.
The show is part of the Vail Après series and suits all ages. Tickets go on sale through tix.com and the event typically sells out, so book early.
