Dillon Reservoir (Lake Dillon) is the centerpiece of a Summit County summer — a stunning high-alpine lake ringed by peaks, with two full-service marinas for paddling, sailing, and boating. Note: swimming and water-skiing aren't allowed (the water is simply too cold), and the season typically runs early June through mid-September.
