Spontaneous Combustion returns Saturday, February 13, 2027 at the Frisco Bay Marina, fueling a giant community bonfire with hundreds of gently used Christmas trees collected after the holidays. It's one of the most distinctive winter events in Summit County.
The free evening includes a fireworks display over Frisco Bay and on-site snack and beverage sales, with proceeds benefiting Mile High Behavioral Healthcare. The bonfire is lit at 6 p.m., DJ Landry spins from 6 to 8 p.m., and fireworks follow at 8 p.m. Bundle up, gather by the fire, and enjoy a uniquely mountain-town midwinter celebration.
