Breckenridge's wildest winter tradition returns — a costumed, snow-worshipping tribute to Ullr, the Norse god of snow.
The 63rd annual Ullr Fest runs December 17–19, 2026, taking over downtown Breckenridge with the town's quirky homage to Ullr, the Norse god of snow, in hopes of a powder-filled ski season. The centerpiece is the wildly costumed Ullr Parade down Main Street.
Beyond the parade, expect a longest-shotski world-record attempt, a bonfire, elaborate costumes, and plenty of snow-worship revelry. It's equal parts spectacle and community celebration, and one of the most beloved winter events on the Breckenridge calendar.
