Boundary-pushing artists, large-scale immersive installations, and four days of music, dance, film, theatre, and visual art — the Breckenridge International Festival of Arts is the town’s flagship summer celebration.
The Breckenridge International Festival of Arts (BIFA), presented by BreckCreate, returns to the Arts District Campus and open spaces of downtown Breckenridge from August 20–23, 2026. Across four days, this immersive celebration gathers boundary-pushing artists from around the world for performances, films, and hands-on experiences woven through the historic mountain town.
The 2026 edition invites you to “step through the looking glass,” with a theme that explores wonder, adventure, creativity, nature, and play. Expect large-scale immersive installations alongside intimate performances — and with many events free to attend, it’s an easy festival to wander into and get swept up in.
