One of the Rockies’ top fine-art festivals returns to Breckenridge — three free days of original work, live music, and art demonstrations against a 9,600-foot backdrop.

The Breckenridge August Art Festival returns August 6–8, 2026, bringing roughly 115 juried artists from around the country to the south end of Main Street. Now in its 25th year and nationally ranked, the show spans 13 fine-art categories — painting, photography, sculpture, ceramics, glass, jewelry, fiber, wood, and more — with free admission all weekend.

Stroll the booths at Main Street Station and the Village at Breckenridge, meet the makers, watch live art demonstrations, and take home an original piece — all set to live music and mountain sunshine.

Many artists demonstrate their process on-site, so you can watch a piece take shape and talk technique with the maker before you buy.
