New This Summer: KODI Rafting offers Stand-Up Paddle Boarding

An exciting new way to experience the river, KODI is joining the Stand-Up Paddle Boarding (SUP) revolution. We tested the new river craze on our family of guides and they had so much fun we decided to launch full-day SUP trips that begin with a flat-water training session, include lunch and finish with stand-up paddle boarding a scenic, four-mile Class I-II stretch of the Upper Colorado River. TRIP: Stand-Up Paddle Boarding Full-Day Adventure

DEPARTURE PLACE/TIME: Frisco Outpost 10 a.m. Meet at 9:30am

TRIP DESCRIPTION: The newest craze on the river includes a full-day adventure for groups of up to six. Trips begin with an hour to 90 minutes of flat-water stand-up paddle board training. After the flat-water session, we will begin our paddle down the Upper Colorado River, heading downstream for a little bit and have lunch (catered by Deli on the Blue) alongside the river. After lunch, our professional guides will lead you down a beautiful,  Class I-II stretch of river on stand-up paddle boards. Another guide will be on the trip in a raft.

MINIMUM AGE: 14

PRICE: $156, includes full gear rental, transportation from outpost and lunch.
