Beaver Creek rings in the holidays during its opening week with a Holiday Market on Friday and Saturday, November 27–28, 2026, and the annual Tree Lighting & Ice Spectacular on Saturday, November 28.
The village tree lighting is a Beaver Creek tradition of more than 40 years, held in the heart of Beaver Creek Village around the ice rink. Skating performances turn the evening into an Ice Spectacular as the village tree glows to life.
The Holiday Market fills the village with gifts and seasonal goods over the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving — a relaxed way to shop between ski runs, with Beaver Creek's famous 3 p.m. Cookie Time nearby.
Both events are part of Beaver Creek's opening week, which begins with Opening Day on November 25. Past editions have included Santa, live music and fireworks; times and the full 2026 lineup will be posted by the resort, so check before you go.
