Title: The Copper Triangle

Description: The Copper Triangle exemplifies cycling in the Colorado Rockies and works in partnership with the Davis Phinney Foundation to raise funds for Parkinson’s disease research. Graced with 78 miles of breathtaking scenery, gorgeous roads and three challenging climbs (including Fremont Pass, Tennessee Pass and Vail Pass), the Copper Triangle has long been considered one of Colorado’s classic alpine road rides.

REGISTRATION FEE INCLUDES…

In addition to the great experience cycling this incredible alpine course, each participant will receive:

• A specially designed commemorative event jersey.

• A ticket to the Alpine Celebration post-ride lunch and party.

• Energy replacing refreshments at the amply stocked aid stations.

• Road support throughout the course.

• A chance to win dozens of valuable prizes

REGISTRAION CONFIRMATION

Once you have registered for the ride, there are several ways to see if your registration was processed. One way is to check your bank account to see if your check was cashed. Also, if you registered online you should receive an email from active.com. Finally, you can click here to see if your name is updated on our registration confirmation page. We know how important it is to know if you are registered, but please be patient and if something does not look right, we will try to fix it.

REFUNDS

In true cycling tradition, the Colorado Cyclist Copper Triangle will take place regardless of weather; therefore NO refunds will be provided.

SCHEDULE

The Colorado Cyclist Copper Triangle will hold the start and finish at the Burning Stones Plaza at Copper Mountain Resort.

Friday August 3

4 p.m. to 8 p.m. – Registration / Packet pick-up & Expo

Saturday August 4

5:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. – Registration / Packet pick-up

5:45 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. – Start times (all riders MUST start by 8 a.m.) Colorado State Patrol will not allow anyone to start prior to first light (5:45 am) without both front and back lights on your bike.

10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. – Alpine Celebration

JERSEY AND PACKET PICK UP

If you did not choose to have your packet mailed to you, you can pick up your packet at Kokopeli Trail in the Copper Conference Center at Copper Mountain at the following times:

Friday August 3 (4p.m. – 8 p.m.)

Saturday August 4 (5:30 a.m. – 8 a.m.)

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

Copper Mountain Resort is located 75 miles (121 kilometers) west of Denver and 20 miles (32 kilometers) east of Vail off Interstate 70

at exit 194th, easily accessible from both the Denver International Airport and Eagle County Airport.

PACKET MAILING

Ever wanted your packet before the event??? Well we can mail it! Mark the option when you register, However, you must choose this option by Monday July 16th, at 11:59 p.m.

Packets will be mailed starting July 1st . If you register on July 16th packets will be mailed a few days after so please be patient. Also, please contact us if you change your address in order to get your packet to you on time.

 

Changes to your Registration

Deadline for any changes to your registration will be on July 1st For example, meal tickets, jersey sizing, etc. Its important we get all the current information in order to best serve you! If you need additional meal tickets, they will be sold at the event, or if you lost a few lbs and need a different jersey size, please let us know ASAP!

 

JERSEY FIT

If your Jersey does not fit, you can, subject to availability, exchange it at the event at the merchandise booth. Please note that availability will be limited and so we can’t guarantee that all sizes will be available.
