Facts to know about Rocky Mountain Resort Management

Q: How do I know I’m getting a good property?

A: RMRM provides very detailed photos, maps, room inventory, and information about the actual unit you will be renting. Rent from others, and you may get the next condo on the list. Rent from us, and what you see is what you get. No surprises!

Q: What’s included?

A: Our condos come fully furnished with everything from a Microwave, 1 or more TV’s, a VCR or DVD player or both, linens and towels, dishes, pots and pans (right down to the corkscrew) and hair dryers. We provide you with supplies like shampoo, conditioner, tissue paper, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, soaps, trash bags, etc. Condos and Town homes come with free parking for one vehicle close to your condo and free parking for additional vehicles in other lots within the resort. Homes have garage parking and additional parking in the driveway. Most units also include a ski locker (usually on the ground floor) so you don’t need to take up condo space with all your heavy, bulky and wet skis/snow boards.

Q: Am I going to get a good deal?

A: Our rates are generally 10% lower than the web price for a similar unit available from others. In addition, we also give you locals-only tips on where to get a great deal on lift tickets and rentals. We also have a BEST RATE GUARANTEE. RMRM can help plan your whole trip, not just rent you a property.

Q: What is travel insurance for?

A: RMRM properties (and all properties in the resort) are typically non-refundable for any reason including death in the family, injury, or simply the inability to get here due to closed roads or airports. Travel insurance insures you against anything other than simply a change of mind and will provide you a refund for travel delays, needing to leave early, or not being able to get here at all. If you buy travel insurance with your condo, the amount of the condo as well as your rentals and lift tickets can be claimed from the insurance company! For 6.5% extra, a travel insurance policy from Access America will protect your entire party’s vacation investment if you are forced to cancel, interrupt, or delay your trip due to weather, illnes, injury, or any other covered reason. Q: How do I check in?

A: RMRM has a full-service check-in center conveniently located in the Dillon City Market Center  DIRECTIONS TO:  330 Dillon Ridge Way Suite 9 (In the City Market Shopping Center) Dillon Co 80435:

Take I 70 West out of Denver to exit 205 (Silverthorne exit, first exit after the Eisenhower tunnel). Take a left onto HWY 6. Go through four traffic lights to the fifth.  Take a left on N Dillon Dam Rd. There is a City Market gas station on your left. Take your 1st left on Dillon Ridge Way. Go passed the gas station parking area to the next left into the second parking area. You will see our sign “RMRM” on your left. If it is after hours or we are not in the office, use the lock box to the right inside the front door. This area is available to guest via codes 24 hours a day.

If after hours or we are not in the office, your code for the front door and the lock box just inside to the right. The combination for the lockbox is on your confirmation letter or call us if you will be late and we’ll provide it.

Q: How do I get to the property?

A: When you check-in, you will receive specific directions to your property. We do not give out directions or addresses prior to check-in for security purposes.

Q: If I ordered lift tickets through RMRM, where do I pick them up?

A: For Keystone/Breckenridge lift tickets, you will receive a confirmation number. You can then take that confirmation number to any ticket window at the resort to receive your lift tickets. For Copper Beeline lift tickets, you will receive a confirmation number. You can then take that confirmation number to the group ticket window or the main ticket window in Center Village to redeem your lift tickets. Exception: if you purchased a Trans4pass, you will receive that from our office when you check-in.

Q: How many people can stay in a unit?

A: Each unit will generally sleep 2 in each bedroom and 2 on a sleeper-sofa in the living room. Many units also have extra beds (trundle, extra double beds, murphy beds, etc). Check each unit for details.

Q: What are the rules?

A: No smoking and no pets are allowed in any of our units, including on the balconies. This is STRICTLY ENFORCED. Quiet time starts at 10:00pm (resort rules apply). We also require a damage deposit on file on each room which will be refunded within 3-4 business days after you leave when we confirm there is no damage.

Q: How is renting from RMRM different from renting from the resorts?

A: One main difference is the cost. We try to be about 10% less than renting the same unit directly from the resort on their web site. Other differences are:

We don’t make money on your phone calls. If your property has a phone, it is hooked directly to the phone company, not the resort switchboard. This means that you don’t pay for local and 1-800 calls. Also, some of our properties have free long distance calling as well. By contrast, every local or 1-800 number call from a resort unit costs you $.75. Long distance is $4.71 for the first MINUTE for long distance and $.86 PER MINUTE after that!

We are a full service system. We offer assistance on every aspect of your stay, including tours and transportation, lift tickets and equipment rental and so much more.

We provide concierge services. For all resorts including Keystone, Copper, Breckenridge, Vail and Beaver Creek. So you can call and get assistance for all areas as needed though our virtual PBX.

GREEN SERVICES – We don’t do daily maid service during your visit. However, if you are staying more than 5 nights during the winter season, we will bring you fresh towels and paper products once for every five nights. This is a complimentary service for which we do not charge you. We do offer you extra cleanings (up to full cleans) for a fee and if arranged ahead of time.
You don’t check in at the resort check-in; you check in at our office in Silverthorne.

Q: How is renting from RMRM different from renting directly from the Owner of the Condo?

A: All of the condos and homes that RMRM represents are owned by private investors. RMRM manages the properties as a local contact for the guests of the owners of the condos. While some owners live in Summit County, most do not. We are available 24 hours a day to help with emergency situations. We can also provide services such as lift tickets, tours, transportation, and equipment rentals, which an individual owner cannot. We believe that RMRM offers the best of both worlds. We are full-service like renting from the Resort, while offering lower prices and access to locals-only discounts like renting directly from the owner.
