“Still Crazy After all of these Years”

Sunday, January 9th – Ullr Skating Party (1:00 – 3:00 pm)

Skate with Ullr himself at the Stephen C. West Ice Arena, 0189 Boreas Pass Rd. Enjoy hot concessions for sale and $5 skate rentals. Proceeds from this event benefit Al Chaffee Memorial Scholarship fund for High School Seniors.

Sunday, January 9th –Pub Crawl

Come and enjoy some creative Tequila drink specials. Will start out and Mi Casa at 5pm and then head to The Dredge around 6:15pm with the next stop at Salt Creek around 7:30pm and up the street we will head to La Montana 8:45pm with the final stop at Ritas 10pm until 11pm. Enjoy the sprits of Tequila in the horn of Ullr!

Monday, January 10th – Ullr Nordic Party & Bonfire (5:30 – 9:00 pm)

Hosted by the Breckenridge Gold Run Nordic Center, located at the Breckenridge Golf Course. Features the crowning of the Ullr King and Queen as well as complimentary light appetizers and a cash bar. The royal crowning is followed by a bonfire. A buffet dinner follows the bonfire at the Gold Run Nordic Center Club House. Participation in the event is free.

Tuesday, January 11th – Ullympics (6:00-8:00pm)

The Ullympics features co-ed teams of four competing like crazy for fun and prizes in whacky events at Carter Park. This is the perfect event for the light-hearted quasi-athlete who can easily laugh at themselves. Get ready for some action. Participation is free.

Tuesday, January 11th – Body Art Ball (8:00pm) Riverwalk Center. The body is a canvas. A captivating visual marvel that blends body art, music and dance to create a colorful, surreal event that is not soon forgotten. Riverwalk Center.

12Wednesday, January 12th – Breck Ascent Series

Take on a different kind of challenge this winter with the 2nd Annual Breckenridge Ascent series, presented by the Breckenridge Ski Resort and Breckenridge Recreation Department. Join us for five hill climb events; use any kind of way to get up the mountain, but skis or snowboard required to come back down! Participants will need to park in the Gondola South Lot, located off the Park Avenue and Watson Road. The route will send participants up the Gondola Ski Back to the Vista Haus. Pre register for the race by 5pm on January 11th for $17. Day of registration is $22 and will begin at 5:45am on January 12th.

Wednesday, January 12th – The Dating Game (8:00 pm)

Breckenridge’s version of the Dating Game is hosted by local radio station KSMT “The Mountain” at 8 p.m. at Cecelia’s. Adults over the age of 21 are welcome to attend. For information on how to apply to be a bachelor/bachelorette,

Thursday, January 13th – Ullr Parade (4:30 pm)

The infamous and zany Ullr parade kicks-off on North Main Street and moseys south through the heart of Breckenridge. In its 48th year, this is the ultimate in Ullr Fest fun. This is one you cannot miss! Participation is free, register your float or parade entry by emailing [email protected].

Friday, January 15th – Comedy Night (7:00pm)

Laugh the night away with Comedian Stephanie McHugh and featuring Comedian Rocky LaPorte! Cocktails start at 7p.m.with show time starting at 8p.m. at the Village at Breckenridge, Ten Mile Room. Enjoy light appetizers, good friends, and more good times. Tickets are $35 available at the Carriage House, and Breckenridge Welcome Center. Tickets may also be purchased at the door.

Saturday, January 16th – Chilly Chili Cook Off Event – January 16 (3:00 – 7:00 pm)

Join us for the Breckenridge Mountain Rotary Club Chilly Chili Cook Off at the Riverwalk Center. Enjoy samplings from local and world famous chili chefs, plus fun activities for the whole family. Tickets for Chilly Chili Cook Off: $15 pre-sales; $20 at the door. Advanced tickets can be purchased at www.breckrotary.org
