April 23rd, 2013 – a Powder day. Who would have thunk it! 13″ of new snow, the second amazing store of April 2013. ABasin and Loveland are knee deep in joy. The skiing conditions are that of mid season and better! Lodging is low as many resorts are closed and feeling the freedom of mud season, so the stars have aligned.
If you can play hooky, do it; call in sick and at worst case make a day trip to enjoy the “freshies” and pure white powder. Rocky Mountain Resort Management will be out enjoying the blue skies and perfect conditions, so should you.
This powder keg of white fluffy snow lays in wait….
