MSP takes you into the action with “THE WAY I SEE IT.” This work of epic proportions features top-shelf skiing and cinematography swirled around an eclectic soundtrack. In addition to fueling your fire, this film provides several unique perspectives on our sport, and in the end brings you more epic skiing than you can shake a pole at. The winner of Powder Magazine’s 2009 “Movie of the Year” brings you the best athletes on the planet, doing what they do best – skiing faster, spinning while flipping and grabbing, and of course, stalking the deepest stashes of snow in the world. The MSP team scoured the globe in search of what makes this sport so special… the adventure, the passion, the camaraderie, and the fun. “THE WAY I SEE IT” showcases the greatest deep powder, steep lines, and massive park features from British Columbia, Japan, Alaska, Colorado, Switzerland, Idaho, Washington,
and many other locations worldwide.

UCP Colorado’s Wine in the Pines has justifiably earned the reputation of the premier wine and culinary event of Summit County. This year will be no exception as we celebrate the wine and work of Francis Ford Coppola at our Godfather-themed 27th Annual Wine in the Pines. Indulge in some of Colorado’s most savory cuisine prepared flawlessly by Keystone’s foremost chefs, paired with exquisite wines from around the world. This extraordinary gathering of culinary talents, discriminating wines and unmatched entertainment and atmosphere are all assembled to celebrate this extraordinary epicurean event!

The Winemakers Dinner at Keystone Ranch on Friday, October 22 at 6:00 p.m. features a six course meal prepared by Keystone Ranch Genius Head Chef Jason Kassib paired with exquisite Coppola Vineyards reserve wines. Guests are encouraged to wear pearls, pinstripes, diamonds and denim.

The International Wine and Gourmet Food Tasting on Saturday, October 23 at 6:00 p.m. features more than 500 international wines, gourmet food from seven of Keystone’s top restaurants, live music, auction and dancing after party. Easter Egg Hunt

Description: ICome out to Frisco Main Street and search for over 5,000 candy filled eggs. Look for the special eggs with other fun prizes!

This event is recommended for kids 0-8 years old. There are age specific areas for kids.

Ages 0-3 will be egg gathering in Town Hall.

Ages 3-5 will be egg gathering along one section of Madison to 2nd located on one side of the banner that will be in place that day.

Ages 6-8 and up will be egg gathering along Main Street from Madison to 2nd and the Historic Park area on the other side of the banner. Volunteers will be on hand to get kids to the correct areas.

Trick or Treat on Main Street

Description: Frisco invites all gouls, goblins, witches and princesses to join us for a night of safe tricks and treats this Halloween, on Main Street from Madison to 7th Avenue. In addition to candy galore, Frisco is teaming up with Mountain Mentors, and Activities Run By Youth, to a new scarier Haunted House.

•Haunted House: The haunted house will unleash the demons at the Frisco’s Recreation Building, 110 3rd Avenue on Friday through Sunday, October 29-31st. The house is recommend for ages 7 and up, so drop by for a good scare for a good cause benefiting Mountain Mentors and Activities Run By Youth (ARBY). The cost is $7 per person, $5 with any student ID or a special $20.00 family rate .
•Trick or Treat on Main Street: Trick-or-treaters can help themselves to all the sweets they can handle at businesses up and down Main Street and in the Frisco Historic Park. For little feet needing a rest, cartoons will play in the Historic Park Log Chapel. Look for the bright orange jack-o-lanterns hanging outside Main Street businesses that have candy to dole out from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 31.

5th Annual Frisco Cyclocross

GOATHEAD and Pine Beetle FREE!!! Fast & technical courses to include pavement, dirt, grass, sand and a few hills;) Start line is in front of Day Lodge. Closed courses are family and spectator friendly. Please use RECYCLING and trash cans provided. Pets ok, on leash. Please clean up after them.

Registration: In or around Frisco day Lodge. Day of Reg only. Bring ACA license, $10 one-day license available. Annual licenses will NOT be available at race site. Cash or Check only payable to Tim Assor

Registration open at 7:30a.m. and closes 20 minutes prior to race start.

Entry Fee: $25 entry each day, $15 each additional race category, same day. Juniors Free! (Jr. categories only)

Rules: ACA CX rule apply. CX age determined by your age as of 12/31/2010

(add 1 year to your racing age as listed on your 2010 ACA license).

The Five Peaks

T5P is North America’s longest ski mountaineering race with 10,000 feet of vertical and five separate ascents in the Ten Mile Range behind and in Breckenridge Ski Resort. Eighty teams of two will skin, climb, ski and traverse Peaks 10, 9, 8 (from two sides) and 7. While The Five Peaks course will be demanding in terms of vertical and time, course loops are designed so that teams that don’t wish to complete the final climbs will still enjoy a full day of high-alpine skiing. It’s the must-do race of the year.
