Colorado Snow

BOOK NOW

Expect snow to begin in the northern mountains late Monday night and then most mountains will see snow on Tuesday and Tuesday evening. The best chance for 6+ inches will be east of the divide with 2-4 inches west of the divide. Snow will stop by Wednesday morning, then additional storms will bring snow on Thursday, Saturday, and Monday.Colorado Snow

The main creator of snow will be the jet stream high in the atmosphere and winds near the surface blowing from the northeast. The jet stream will create a few narrow bands of intense precipitation, and the near-surface wind direction from the northeast will create rising air and snow near and east of the divide. The location where these two factors combine will yield the highest snow totals.
