Dew Tour Mountain Championships

THE DEW TOUR MOUNTAIN CHAMPIONSHIPS RETURN TO BRECK FROM DEC. 10-13, 2015

The Dew Tour will return to Breck for the Mountain Championships December 10-13, rounding out the season with its signature winter event, Alli Sports, a division of the NBC Sports Group, announced today. For the seventh straight year, the Dew Tour will descend upon Breckenridge Ski Resort for four days of snowboard and freeski competitions, and will air four hours LIVE on NBC and four hours on NBCSN.

Dew Tour BreckenridgeThe culmination of the 2015 Dew Tour will once again take place in Breck. with four days of snowboard and freeski competitions, as well as live concerts and the interactive Dew Tour Experience, featuring athlete meet and greets, games, and giveaways.

The Dew Tour schedule will incorporate specific sports and disciplines in Breck:

  • Men’s and Women’s Freeski Slopestyle
  • Men’s and Women’s Freeski Superpipe
  • Men’s and Women’s Snowboard Slopestyle
  • Men’s and Women’s Snowboard Superpipe
  • Men’s Snowboard Streetstyle

Dew Tour Access Information:

The Halfpipe Venue
Guests can access the halfpipe venue via Rip’s Ride. Foot passenger tickets are available at the ticket windows, from Guest Services staff, and at the base of the Rip’s Ride itself. Foot passenger tickets and proper footwear are required.

Guests will not be allowed to take ski and snowboard equipment up the lift with them if they are using a foot passenger ticket. There is no downloading allowed on Rip’s Ride, so guests must be prepared to walk back down along the skier’s right side of the slopestyle venue. Ski poles are available to use for stability, however it is requested that these are returned in the receptacles provided at the base of the venue.

The Slopestyle Venue
Guests may walk up to the base of the slopestyle venue from the Peak 8 base area between the Kid’s Castle and 5 Chair. This is a high traffic area, so please heed all pedestrian wayfinder and operating equipment warning signs.

Additional spectator viewing can be accessed via Rip’s Ride and a short walk downhill alongside the skier’s right of the slopestyle venue. All halfpipe venue access information is applicable to this portion of the slopestyle viewing as well. There is no slopestyle viewing from the halfpipe deck while the halfpipe venue is closed, this is staffed by security and anyone attempting to access a closed venue will be turned away.

The Dew Tour Experience Festival Village
The Dew Tour Experience is right next to the Colorado SuperChair and can be accessed from the Peak 8 base area.
