A-Basin is opening on Friday October 17th, 2014! They won the race again! While it is about average for them since starting to make snow in 2001, we are all excited to see the Colorado ski season starting! The weather has been great for snow making and they will open with about 700 vertical feet. They need 18 inches to open and the 12 inches of natural snow that fell helped in that effort! The opening will have A-Basin open 7 days a week starrting Friday. Friday at 8am you can get in line for your A-Basin mug, $45 gets you the mug and discounts all season long. Keystone and Copper Mountain are slated for October 31, for the 2014 ski season and Breckenridge for November 7th.
